Indigo is the power of compassion, and we abandon everything, and devote ourselves to compassion. A possible reason why the worse beings in the galaxy were converted into the group would be that it is their eternal penitence.
But if you want to know, take the test.

I don't have to take a test to know compassion is my strongest trate
lets see.....
Red/Rage - no longer have this at all..... like 0..... some times i might get frustrated or angry but hate and rage.... nu uh...
Orange/Avarice - eh maybe some but proably less than normal
Yellow/Fear - of change, enevabilities like death and stuff but thats a on/off thing... mostly i'm beyond carring what happens to be afraid....
Green/Will Blue/Hope - see above... lol.... not much hope, it's there but way less than most people would have.... and willpower only for things that are REALLY important.... and myself isn't on that list for me.... and self-will and drive is sorta a requirment
Indigo/Compassion - to the point of myrtarisem >.>
Violet/Love - unconditional
Black/Death- eh the fear stuff feds in
White/Life - not much self living.... but plenty of living for other people and takng care of them
so yah..... really only qualify for indigo, Violet, or White rings lol
and being that unconditional love comes from compassion....... all signs point to indigo

Conviction, discipline, with a slight bit of brashness and bonkers to him. Excellent work.
Here's a bit of trivia for you. If you look closely, his light powers bear some resemblance to the Neon Conduit ability from inFAMOUS Second Son. Given that DC Comics published a miniseries based on the original inFAMOUS, this is only fitting.
Before he got hold of his power battery, it was left in the bottom of a lake in Eugen Schauman Park by Adara, the Hope Entity, just as the events of Lights Out were getting underway. That happened in the middle of a heavy storm, and the lake was struck by a lightning bolt shortly afterwards. The lantern absorbed enough of the strike to spare the local wildlife. When he charged his ring for the first time, some of the electric charge was transferred to it as well. So some time later, when one of his colleagues knocked the ring, still on his hand, with a rubber mallet, the stored electric charge mixed the Blue Energy. A resulting photon and electron cocktail then spilt onto his hand. Within moments, the power overtook him, causing him to phase in and out of a light-based form, which granted him enhanced speed and stamina. That also caused surrounding electric lights, from incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and light-emitting diodes to neon signs and even video monitors to light up and flash blue, and then dim. He rushed home very quickly, and a recharge was able to rectify his instability.
Given his natural affinity to electrical elements, the power battery also derived a link between light and electricity, and developed a surrogate energy system. By absorbing light from such electrified sources, he can bypass the need for a Green Lantern to channel his Blue Energy effectively. Whilst this maintains the Blue Light’s capacity to heal and soothe, his abilities are slightly hindered by the shape of the lighting: small lights like LEDs give him pellets and bullets; larger incandescent and halogen bulbs make bombs and bubbles; bright and tubular sources such as fluorescent, neon, and other gas discharge lamps can become beams, staves, swords and ropes. The only way to get constructs is to drain a video screen for both being a source of light and its ability to produce images. Also, the light he drains is volatile enough to require usage within a few minutes lest it dissipates and becomes useless, and he still needs to recharge his ring daily.
