The kittie in this pic is Mellie, my sister's cat. You may notice that she has a protruding fang, and does not look happy to be receiving a friendly hug from keeta... this is because on their first meeting, keeta made the mistake of chasing mellie into a corner, giving her no choice but to fight back... keeta got some nasty scratches on her face that she had a cry about afterwards, and mellie bit her so hard that she permanently dislodged a fang, but was otherwise unharmed.

This encounter taught keeta a lesson or two about chasing kitties, and while she forgave mellie and now just wants to be her friend, mellie does not return this sentiment.
