There we gooo, pieces from the holiday auction 83. These were done a while ago, I've just been a bit busy so I can submit now.

I've been doing my best for you guys, I hope you like the outcome. I had to mess around with every detail I didn't like couldn't just ignore it and move forward - therefore those post-completion updates x3. Not sure if it was a good decision to take up so much digital work for a commission, I'm still not sure about some parts. So, maybe it's just my perfectionism, but I hope I haven't disappointed you even with any detail x3.
And this goes to all of auction winners.
Is it still being professional while you have so many doubts about your work, I'm not sure, but one never stop learning, right.

Aww, thank you so much for doing such an awesome job on this, and I absolutely love how it turned out. You are a truly amazing artist, and the details you've added to this picture really make it so very special. <3 There is so much warmth and cuteness, and it really shows in the faces. Thank you for making it truly so very wonderful.
So warm and snuggly... I'm still trying to figure out how to make my stuff look more visceral, like they're really breathing and drooling on each other, and this is so fun. (I really don't want to become one of those artists like Eyvind Earle or Lawren Harris that try to smooth everything out into ice...)
They look so special together <3. And don't worry, we're all artistically suffering from our inferiority complexes! It's the reason you got from your high school scribbles to this, right? The only confident artists are 12-year-olds with Sonic OCs. And Damien Hirst. No middle ground.

Visceral.... I used to think that you need to become very hyperrealistic to achieve that feeling. But it's not quite that. You always need to manipulate what you see but still have it based on reality. Hide the aspects that are rough and expose others. Smooth surfaces have this clean, idealistic feeling - if you don't want to use smoothnes then I don't know what else might work... Do I stray too much from the topic? x3
