I felt like doing a self portrait because the last one I created for fun was done December 2012 and was incredibly outdate, and I no longer felt like it accurately illustrated myself and who I am. Wow! 2014 was quite the year! So many changes, so many advances.


Today I am the best version of me which ever was. I have a great little happy family and a lovely little home. As of today I have lived for seven thousand, nine hundred and thirty-four days. I look forward to my seven thousand, nine hundred, and thirty-fifth day. My best friend, Blu (who turns 9 years old February 2nd, woohoo!) is my constant companion. My fluffy, lap-warmer rescue kitty, Nimbus is my therapist. The newest member of my family, the shoulder-Sphynx named Pierogi, keeps me busy and distracted from the static of life. My hair is a different color each month. I enjoy walking barefoot, wearing dresses, and drinking coffee (black and unsweetened) at all hours of the day. Sometimes my favorite color is green. Sometimes it is purple. Today I think it is pink. I like going for long walks in city and hikes in state parks with Blu-dog. Blu likes hunting squirrels, snuggling kittens, and playing in fresh snow. Nimbus likes to sleep beside heater, in my lap, or on top of the kitchen table. Pierogi likes to stand on my shoulders while I paint, draw, or do dishes. He also likes to stand on Blu and Nimbus, who let him because I think they understand that it is his unique way of displaying affection. We live in a house with little sunlight, but lots of houseplants, two sitting chairs, and one community bed. We are a happy little family and we love each other.
