Took me a bit, but I ironed out her colors and made her Official. Note that she is NOT a new fursona- that's Argentine's job- rather she's my party/rave character. It's just that Argy is really too...stuffy to be written into a lot of modern contexts, and he's not one to (willingly) get wasted at a club or something like that. He works best in the Victorian mode, or at least at home behind his computer, since I designed him to be myself when I have nothing to be particularly happy about.
That's where Jem comes in. Where Argentine is Steampunk, Jem is Cyberpunk. She's the one to get wasted at a club and party hard, to be put in all sorts of modern and post-modern settings. Hey, antlers are a great place to put glow sticks.
Speaking of which...did I mention she's a hermaphrodite, complete with both reproductive sets? The fact that she looks kind of ambiguous in this picture is no mistake. Instead of giving her some of my personality, since she's not a fursona, I gave her the physical manifestation of my genderfluidity.
When I was little and played pretend with the neighbor kids, I remember getting really frustrated that, as a biological female, I couldn't be a deer character because I couldn't have antlers. Then the other night I found a statistic that said something like one in every 10,000-20,000 doe are born with antlers due to excess testosterone. Turns out 4-year-old me was right after all.
Now as to Jem's special ability. She can change her body shape and size at will to...ahem...suit the situation. Not skeletally, mind you- no macro/micro or size difference for her. But she can gain or lose weight, inflate or deflate, change particular body parts, or become moderately stretchy to...accommodate...others. So by extent on days she feels more female she can shrink the man bits to near gone and push out her chest, and on male days she nixes her boobs and makes a nice package to display. And all manner of in-betweens of course.
And because of this ability...she has kinks for weight gain/inflation and hyper. Why wouldn't she?
Other things I've thought of for her include:
-She's an Aries (haven't given her a birthday yet)
-She's 25 years old, roundabouts
-She can turn that body glow on and off at will (and yes, the bits glow too)
-Acts like me when I drink or when I'm at a rave, but nearly all the time; can be serious if called on though
If I choose to take her beyond the Mary Sue party fur character level, you'll know.
