Interestin'! And entertaining for a first try. This come out the way you wanted it, or still refining things? Slight touch of a cartoony aspect to it, and the jaw/muzzle seems a bit oddly placed for the rest of the head, but hey! I'm sure you'll find what you're after for the overall design soon enough.
