What's the point of the fence?

I know crew would attempt jumping the gap lol.

Then again, the fence would be easier to grab onto.

Could also unbolt the fence and use it bridge the gap!

It's not impossible to cross. But it's moderately scary for a sane person :)

To (theoretically) discourage trespassers. On most of the bridges, the chain link was cut long ago.

The barrier may have been put up when there wasn't quite the gap in timbers; I think a section was set of fire here. That could be another bridge I'm thinking of, as there are like 5 and I can't keep them straight!

They are pretty high and pretty dangerous, but awfully attractive. Luckily I got to explore them when they were completely intact :)

That fence? It Keeps redneck cable-guy idiots from driving 4 wheelers out across the structure. Not a problem that they die, but fire & rescue rednecks risk themselves and cost local government big$ to retrieve the useless protoplasm.
