For my roomie, Manasurge:! Steelix is her favourite pokemon, and last year I got her a little figure of Onyx, as that was the closest I could find of him. This year I doubled down and looked at all my local nerd shops, , online, but nothin, or way overpriced for what he was on the rare occasions I found something that wasn't a pokemon card. Poor guy just isn't popular enough for regular merch, I suppose. So I wound up trying my hand at making one, and I think he came out pretty well. I started smoothing him out, but found leaving him rough just looked better at his tiny size for the kind of texture he would have, being a rock wyrm, pretty much. He sits nice with the Onyx I gave her last year, in any case. :) I don't think you can see it in these photos, but he even has his little grill of teeth in his mouth, like in some of the promo art.

I used no paint on this one, just sculpey for all colours.
