You may find amusing that Stephane Charbonnier, one of the cartoonists and also editor of Charlie Hebdo, said in 2011, after the bombing of the building of the newspaper (at night, nobody was injured) and being asked if he was afraid of terrorism "We (the Charlie staff) don't want to live in fear.
