Finally finished! It was a lot of work but it was damn worth it!
One of my many characters Uurahg, the orchish bloodmage/shaman and his 3 familiars, Arau (ah-rah-u) the Kodiak bear, Nolo the bearded vulture, and Miss Kitty the house cat. She is based off of my own cat whom I often call miss kitty lol They are all females and very loyal to him.
I've been having a hankering to draw Uurahg and develop his character more.

Due to such a close bond with his familiars and their spiritual connection, it is kind of like he has schizophrenia. He hears their thoughts and feels everything they feel. Past familiars, even though dead, their souls live on in him, so he still hears their thoughts as well. Since they are animals, these thoughts are not in the form of words, but in images and emotions.

That being said, he is a bit unpredictable. It can be hard to filter out all the "voices" and feelings in his head. He himself is a cold and arrogant man to all those but his familiars. He is much older than he looks, over 500.

He rarely interacts with other people. living alone with his animal companions in the forest. He occasionally goes into a nearby town where he serves as a sort of doctor. He has had a pact with the town for several centuries. He offers his powers to the town and they protect his identity and steer people away from him. Long ago, blood mages were hunted down, feared for their incredible power. Now days, it is believed they are all dead.
