sooooo since i haven't updated my commission prices in...about three years, and since i needed to change some things around, here are my new commission prices!
THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN.
the main thing that i changed was that i got rid of sketches. my "sketches" were very clean and more like inks, so they will be my standard inks now, noted here as "reg" for "regular". they are fairly detailed, as you can see here and from my gallery. what i had been calling inks will be "high quality" inks, noted here as "HQ". those are much more fine and take a lot more time. so flats, cellshade, and fullcolor commissions will be available in both varieties, upon commissioner preference.

i also made tiered prices for backgrounds, since i wasn't changing for those and often put a lot of time and work into them. the examples are kind of tiny, unfortunately, but the full images can be found in my gallery.

Due dates aren't a big problem for me usually. The biggest thing is I've had people commission me and have me finish it overnight or within a few days when they had other people before them and it's very stressful when I have to finish a picture within a /really/ short notice.

Lots of artists in the industry have a 'rush fee' for those who want the art faster than you would normally be doing it in. These fees can be anywhere from 20-150% depending on how quickly they want it. If someone wants to jump the line, they gotta pay the price.

Sounds like a great set of prices, well worth your time! I like the regular and high quality versions, too.
You were definitely due a price increase since time passed and your skill level definitely went up.
(also, it's "color palette" - a pallet is that block of wood things are shipped on. :))
