A team of Plague Hunters are interrupting the experiments of a mad scientist who is determined to open dimensional portals to other worlds for nefarious purposes, only to find that they are too late. Said gate happens to lead to a corridor on the distant desert world of Tarlec, where a rather surprised Imaja archivist named Kurtz finds himself in an unexpected first contact situation.
I really love how this turned out...Dee's inks are really amazing by themselves, and looking all the better for the coloring job he did.
