WIP's count as doodles right?
Yeah yeah i know. "Another one!? Do you have some sort of Light MG Fetish? Freak..."
If only you could see my 'Light MG' Model folder, has like 11 unnamed LMGs and 3-4 named ones. Some finished, some unfinished, its like a LMG graveyard.
I 'may' have an unhealthy obsession with them but then again anything that puts out as much lead as an LMG does that IS a man portable weapon that you're not having to wear an ammo pack for is justifieably an attractive weapon to me. Plus it all started when i played BLACK, my god so much M249 SAW love, i couldn't part with it once i found it.
Anyhow, this LMG is a 5.56nato spitting LMG, normally i don't do anything but 7.62nato but when i tried to redo what is seen here in 7.62 it came out really ugly and just 'fat'. So i had to keep with 5.56, oh well.
This originally started out with me trying to make a bullpup-ish AR-15 or something, but when i added the gas tube beneath it and decided to give it a heat shield i realized my intentions had shifted to an LMG, so i kept going in that direction. This also is the first time i've made a carry handle that doesn't look like crap, and so far the parts shown are actually rather good looking. Maybe my skills have evolved a bit?
Not much else i can really think to say here.

That's iffy. I spoke with my teacher of the month month today about setting up for finals/portfolio development class these next 4 months. In short, I need to facelift my website and keep my furry stuff on FA along with deleting unnecessary pages. That aside all I'm doing is waiting on a knight character to get approved by game dev so I can animate him. Tinkering with little things here and there and getting into texturing even more. My newest deviation is a big-ass tow truck that looks like it came off of a military runway. I need to learn how to use the Substance software package though so my stuff can look competitive against Far Cry 4 (Yes, our teachers want us to be better than that game. All the pressure). As for drawing I have been dicking about with lineart stuff on my computer thanks to my roommate drawing a furry for the first time ever and I got really jelly, but even that is just a bump here and a bump there.
The only real thing that is on my mind right now is my car. The PCV valve is broken somehow and is leaking oil (I think?) all over the ground after drives. It is a slow leak, but it looks terrible. I know a local auto-body shop with 21 straight 5-star reviews on Google, but it is a mom and pop place with only a phone line, but I lost the phone number so I need to find that, then I'll set up an appointment for it. Matching it with my days off in my school schedule while still having a ride back home is gonna be tricky . The day I did go there, I shit you not, there was something that looked like a Hudson Hornet there waiting to be worked on. They must have great service to be trusted with a car like that. Taking a step back though, my door speakers are shot. I got a wiring kit and some new speakers (Pioneers. Good brand). It is not going to plan. The door is set up in a 3screw triangle shape. The speakers are too small for the 3screw triangle shape, but are the perfect fit diameter-wise, so tomorrow I'm gonna drill the 4 holes in the door for the outer ring on the speaker, crimp the wires, and get them installed, and maybe, if I'm lucky, I don't need to cut up the door panels either because I fear of the speakers being too long. It's like working with legos, but you need to break some of the blocks to get it to work.
So with all of this going on I have not been on DA or FA, and if I am I check my submissions stack and move on. I stopped reading journals a while ago which I hate myself for doing, but I just don't have any interest in them.
