I think it would be really weird if any of the kids from Adventure 02 appeared. They were all friends and did a lot of things together, it would not make senze of they just disappear. Well, it least I hope so hahahaha

i think they will appear via cameo, as i believe tri is set after the events of 02? so they have to show up at least once, even if the focus is solely on the adventure children

admittedly, i honestly prefer adventure as 02 was great, but fell apart after the digimon kaiser arc as there was a lot of loose ends and bad writing but i still love the characters to bits and the ending with Oikawa still makes me sob like a baby
