Aaa this is my first drawing of Cteno and I think it came out really well!
For long time I wanted to draw her and finally got courage to do it.
Was really scared to upload this... It was ready last week and the lines are from last year. X"3 I adore her.

It's pretty accurate to me. Slugbox loves big hips so you captures that just right. I also don't really know what species she's supposed to be, but it is an interesting design. (the fact that I'm a sucker for a girl with glasses has nothing to do with my decision. ^///^') Did you give slugbox a link to your piece?
I would say yes. You're just showing your love for the character, and I'm sure artists love seeing how their characters are loved in the community. Plus it isn't NSFW which is a plus. Most of the time I see people link in shouts. You could do a note if you like. Either way it's up to you. :D
