I was talking about GamerGate. It's color scheme is great purple and black. I just thought it was peculiar that a coffee sleeve have green and purple.

Also, what program do you use?

I guess my cup does have a bit of the Gamersgate vibe. Where talking about the store and not the movement right? It wasn't a reference but that's definitely a cool coincidence!

Have you tried using the smudge tool or the mix brush to smooth out your surfaces? Also, do you have an iPhone or iPad?

I use the smudge tool for something different besides blending. It a really interesting brush that I use for creating quick Sc-fi designs. I might also use it for hinting grass in some areas as well. I haven't done much experimenting with the mixer tool, maybe sometime soon but I usually will use some textured soft brushes.

I have a run down, extremely laggy S3 phone. But I have a Microsoft surface pro that I can take everywhere that also runs Photoshop decently well.

well.. I bought mine new years ago for around 800.. But you can pick up the first version of it for around 400.. Its got a ton of strange quirks but all in all its an amazing travel companion.

I'll have to check it out. Do you work in project sizes over 4000 pixels at all? I'm curious as to the processing power of PS at that size with this surface

Usually work at 4000x5000+ unless I have plans for the picture to be printed REALLY BIG. But I can confirm the MS pro 128 GB can run most Photoshop fine at 4000x5000 but I haven't tried any higher. Personally Id recommend trying to find a surface 3.. There are a some bugs they fixed on 3 that makes life on a surface much easier. But as long as your using photoshop cs6 on the surface pro 1 then its not really a big issue.

Ok cool. Do you know if the smudge or mixer tools are laggy at large brush sizes?

Oh yeah, Past 400 and its likely useless. Not a problem for me in the slightest but anyone who doesn't have 16gb of ram.. I could it definitely would become a problem. Though the for what I use the smudge brush for. It works like a charm at 1000 px but for blending.. probably not.

Is the ram interchangeable? I HAV a lame tablet pc that you can't change out the ram. So I was just curious.

Sadly you can't change out the ram on the windows surface pro... well.. you could but one would likely break the thing before it was possible. I don't know of many pc tablets that actually have that capability though.

Darn. I guess I'll stick with my iPad for now.
