Heh, showed it to someone before I was finished, and they went 'Ooohe! A Necromancer Drow?', when it was just the line-work... and, went 'Eh, could be, wouldn't take much more work to make it look like that when filling it in...' So, here we go. ^^; Drow Version!

Very easily, yes. That is in-fact the major reason for doing it... to ALLOW me to do colors in the first place.
My 'classic' stuff has to do with opacity layers, this is an initial drawing, then I open it up in AI after it is scanned, then I use an art-drawing-pad (bamboo pad) and trace over it, to get a 'vector drawing', then I take it over in to Photoshop and fill it in behind the lines, and do stuff from there.
