This is the original pencil sketch drawn on a cheap notepad just a tad bigger than an art-card. I had an office supply store make bunch of copies on card stock, and then I colored some with watercolor paints and some with colored pencils.
The colored pencil example I scanned came out really awful. I'll have to figure out why and then I'll submit that here too. I have scanned colored pencil work before (see "Emerald Clover - ATC" in my gallery) and it came out fine; reckon I just did something wrong this time.
