nice mech! i like the idea of him toting a canvas bag and having multiple optic sensors, like an insect or something. to me, insects have always been a very robotic sort of thing. they're very binary and straight forward organisms. i think the most important thing to think of when you draw mech is like, shapes? like think basic shapes. more straight lines, less curves and stuff.
overall really awesome! you're learning a lot c: its neat watching you explore your interests

Oh man, I am REALLY crummy at critiques! haha
I like this guy! I dig the shapes and textures, especially the fabric bag he keeps his gun in!
He looks like a wandering desert robot. I also like his elongated head, and flat face.
Super cute! Can't wait to see more stuff from ya! C:

rad concept, i like it.
like 22mg said though, needs more straight lines, a lot of things are too curved when they shouldn't be (the gun for example).
also more definition in lines, as in a little bit clearer and less scratchy.
mechs and sci-fi stuff tend to be more 'rigid' with sharp corners, if you want to add a bit of fluidity to break it up then add some hydraulic cylinders, fuel/coolant lines, etc etc
Really cool concept and I can't wait to see more
