Adam is an outdoors-y person, though it helps that his family runs the nearby camping grounds, so he's always got access to it. One of his favorite activities involve inviting friends over to go fishing in the lake, but not using fancy fishing gear, just a stick and line. Adam and Ty met in class when Ty overheard Adam's scout buddy's bail out of hanging out with Adam that weekend, and seeing Adam down trodden, offered to go fishing with him, and they've been friends since.
