Ty found out about Mond's gaming habit, and so wanted to know who was the one staying over at his place, when he became friends with Diego by association. While he doesn't have much in common with the smaller guy, he does appreciate his competitive spirit. Diego likes being able to hold onto Ty's horns like handlebars and driving him like a bicycle.
