Heh... crappy title but that's the best way to describe the Gehmanis species/race, they're a bastard-child mix of sci-fi and mythology/magic.
They don't follow logic or physics really i.e. Marino defies gravity when he's out of water, and they shape-shift.

So yeah who do we have here and what are they about? I'm sort of in the mood to draw these guys since these are quite possibly (as far as i remember) the first ever creations of mine (used to be my imaginary friends as a child) Also excuses to try different styles and such, I think they turned out pretty good, even though (with the exception of May) they haven't much changed since their original designs/concepts.

Vincent Marselle: The eldest of the bunch, he has a rather morbid and unsympathetic view on the world and mostly just content, never really "happy" unless he makes some breakthrough with his experiments, he spends his time playing around with human anatomy and testing medicines on them (they don't exactly volunteer...) His current project is trying to find a cure for cancer (which he's developed into a viral form so he can inject it into his subjects and "give them" cancer for him to try and cure. ...He's also a bloodwolf type Gehmanis, which means he takes the form of a werewolf that has a penchant for blood hence the name. (somewhat like a lycampire) He can shift at will except full moons where he also has little self control (as you'd expect) he keeps a close eye on when the full moons are and locks himself away until the next morning.

Max Marselle: "Devil type" yeah wings and tail included... no horns though, not much shapeshifting 'cept the size of his wings (look like tattoos at smallest) He's the second eldest of the brothers, always game for a laugh and very loose and relaxed in his outlook on life, to him it's more a game to be made fun of, not all that serious. Max's hobby is engineering, be it building machines or fixing up the ship.

Luka (Surname unknown): "Angel type" Max's boyfriend, pulled into this mixed up troop by Max who took him in and gave him his hands (Mechanical, how Luka lost his is unknown but he's lived quite a few years without them until Max built some more for him, with Vincent's help on getting them to respond to nerve impulses.) Luka appears to be Max's conscience for the most part, very in tune to what's right or wrong and takes it pretty seriously....well did... it seems Max's bad morals are starting to wear off on him.

Marino Marselle: "Aquarian type" The youngest brother, as mentioned he defies gravity when out of water, simply swimming through the air... it's still not second nature to him yet so he has a habit of randomly falling out of the air when he loses his concentration or is distracted...which is often... He's pretty naive and childish at times but means well when he tries to help his brothers, even if he's the cause of some of the explosions on the ship by short circuiting it. (No shape shifting abilities).

May Luna: "Nymph type" Another that was roped into the gang, having hitched a ride without knowing just where she was going, she's ended up being pretty much a permanent part of the crew, sweet on appearance she has a temper to be reckoned with and so often ends up being the disciplinarian on the ship. She's good with plants and such and sometimes helps Vincent gather potential medicine ingredients. She prefers to be left alone to peace and quiet...which is a rarity unless she leaves the ship.
