I like the hips since they're unique and kinda like 'characterizing' but maybe giving it some more unique features will make it even more awesome! ;D

IE:
* Is it going to be more alien, or fantasy, or ... ?
* Are you wanting to distinguish it from other similar species via coloring or markings added later? Or via physical traits/appearance visible in the line art?
* Are you wanting to come across as a blend of familiar animal species? Or are you hoping to achieve something relatively new and unique?
* What terrain are you wanting your creature to inhabit? Is going to be tertiary, aviary, or aquatic? Are you wanting it to be from a cave enviornment, or desert, or deep in the jungle, or ... ?
