Fan art for
Darc
I entered this piece in the Code Name: Hunter fan art contest in 2011. For those not familiar with the early parts of CN:H, a character named Eric once shared a London flat with Max and Ruby..., and Eric was rather small in stature. Actually, CN:H is now re-posting the early comics and you can see Eric there.
I've postulated a time in the future, often hinted at in some of the early art by Darc, when Max and Ruby become a couple. And, as couples do, share a set of pajamas..., only Max has slipped Ruby a top that once belonged to Eric. How well it fits depends on your viewpoint, obviously. Max and Ruby @ Darc Sowers.

I had some time to kill and figured I'd catch up with your fine ladies.
I've started playing around with an older version of Photoshop Elements recently. The learning curve is a little rough, but 'playing' with controls gets results (and [Ctrl]-Z is a quick oops remover). I learned to use multiple layers with a product called Paint Dot Net, and PSE offers more and interesting plugins.

I keep meaning to try to find 'patterns', but now that I do so few simple 'pin-ups' it's become less of an issue. I keep telling myself to get more adventurous with PS Elements..., I have learned to clean up my scanned inks with Lighting - Levels, though, and that's made my manual clean-ups a lot less time-consuming.
