I just decided the mask deserved its own submission. This lighting is really crappy though and so makes for a poor representation of the colors. I should try to get some natural lighting photos...

Regular ol' newspaper strips + glue water paper mache, over a foil and masking tape base that was roughly fitted to my face. Used gesso and did some gentle sanding over the top. Very light, super comfy. Mask turned out just a teeny bit small for my taste, but is far easier to wear than the paper mache "clay" ones I've done before, and a bit easier of a process in general.

Lots of different colors of acrylic paint on this one. Sealed for durability.
