Cougar (Puma concolor)

Well, this picture has a little story. During my first visit to the Portland Zoo I sadly saw none of the two cougars they have, but during our second visit the couple was actually outside. The female, in fact, positioned herself directly infront of the window, which was the perfect spot for me to make some photos.
I had some trouble though with the sun light reflecting from the glass, so my buddy  morier-the-dark unfolded our zoo map and created some artificial shadow for me. Suddenly the pretty lady was turning her head and looking into my camera all curiously... so I thouhgt.
After a moment we realized though that she was utterly fascinated by the map my friend was holding, as if she'd try to read it. XD

Absolutely adorable.

I also think it's overly cute that her lips have pink parts...
