I was really torn between taking this sketch all the way or simply leaving it with some of my other unfinished work. I drew it while waiting in line for a car inspection and the sketch only took me about 15 minutes- consequently I got a lot of the details and so forth wrong. Out of boredom I inked it, then it sat around, then today while I was in the mood I threw it on to the end of my color work.
I'm putting it in scraps because there's really nothing technically special about the image, except that maybe he's the first lion I've drawn. I wanted to say more about him as a character as well, but I'll need to save that for a more fully realized picture of him. All I can say right now is that he's a character in the Fred Savage comic, an American Army general with some private projects on the side, some of which involve Fred.
