This is the day 7 sketching practice I've done (for January 11). More importantly I'm trying to nail down proportions and symmetry. Yes, her next is off-center, but I'm trying to gradually incorporate more motion into my work. It's a long road to get that down right, but I'm working towards that.
Most importantly, this is my first attempt at using any color in my sketchings. All I have to work with at the moment are colored pencils, and since I'm doing this traditionally there is VERY little margin for error on that. Felt it would still be nice to try to throw a splash of color in this. She looks rather stale without it.
I think tomorrow I might just do an actually anthro piece. Maybe a catgirl? I dunno. Sticking to faces for the meantime. An observer's eye is always drawn to the face - eyes in particular as it's a habit most people have.
If I don't draw a catgirl tomorrow, I might try to strike out and attempt a fan piece of Jotaro Kujo (mai husbando <3). We'll see what comes of everything.
