This is awesome Mary. I love the way you colored it it has a rough look, but that adds to the fallish feeling. What did you use color pencil or oil pastels?

It's just a regular mechanical pencil sketch colored in photoshop. I'm not ambitious enough to use oil pastels anymore. <=)

I use artrage from time to time, that really works like real media. I like it a lot.

I am looking into a tablet... it's gonna' be a long time til I can get what I can afford. But when I do, I think my digital coloring is gonna' skyrocket. Seriously.

No, it's just that I aspire to get to a pro level someday, I won't settle for anything else. And I've tried a tablet before, and just don't care for it. This one you can hold in your hands, turn around like a sheet of paper, and have ultimate control. Oh, if only I could treat digital like I do markers - it would be world class!! Coloring with a mouse is like coloring with a brick of sidewalk chalk. :P
