This is my Pirate Queen named Calysto

Conceived when an elven nobleman decided to have his way with on of his wild elf slaves.

Calysto's mother was able to keep her hidden from the nobleman, but on her sixth birthday she decided to wander a little too far and was discovred, much to the nobleman's sick delight. Her mother went into a blind rage upon learning her daughter had been raped by the same male that raped her and managed to kill the noble with a potato peeler. Her mother was sentenced to death by hanging.

Shortly after her mother's death she ran away traveling from town to town, hitching rides with anyone she could and ended up with a band of bounty hunters and mercenaries for a while that taught her much about fighting and how the world worked.

When she turned 10 she joined up with a traveling carnival where she learned acrobatics and knife throwing, staying with them for 4 years to hone her new skills. On one of their travels the carnival became under attack from bandits Calysto ran once more, taking what gold she could with her.

She stayed on the run until she eventually made it to a jungle where she found herself lost. She would have died had she not been found by a Wild Elf elder of the Gorilla Mist trbe. The tribe took her in as one of their own and the elder treated her as if she was his own daughter, teaching her everything he knew about herbs, survival and hunting. By the time her 18th birthday had arrived many of the tribe's braves started to come around to buy her hand in marriage from the elder. Her highly developed skills along with her body made her a very desirable mate. She ran off again before she could me married off.

Making her way through the jungle she came upon a free port, fascinated by all the ships she decided to get a closer look and stole a bar maids dress as it would draw far less attention than the loincloth she was wearing.

Calysto found work with a local fisherman and stayed with him for about a year, learning all the basics of sailing and navigating sea charts.

Then there was a crew looking to add members to help man their new larger ship. Calysto jumped at the chance and managed to procure a spot on the crew in spite of being female thanks to her abilities. Little did she know that the ship belonged the the notorious Bloodsail Buccaneer, a band of ruthless cut-throat pirates led by the notorious Captain Flint.

Being a quick learner Calysto quickly mastered her sailing and navigating skills as well as becoming the best swashbuckler on the ship. She quickly rose through the ranks and found she rather enjoyed the life of a pirate.

Eventually she became Flint's right hand pirate and upon his death at the hands of a naval raid became the new captain of the Bloodsail Buccaneers. Regardless of her skill and the fact that Flint hand picked her to succeed him many crew members voiced their distaste about having a woman as captain; but she eventually won them over and proved to be a very capable captain.

Under Calysto they became an even more powerful force. No ship wa spared by Calysto be it merchant, slave, passenger or even Naval. Her reputation quickly grew as being a cunning, strong and voracious woman; to the point where there was a 10,000G bounty placed on her head.

Calysto even caught the eye of the Pirate King Roger. Roger courted Calysto for many years before she finally agreed to become his Queen. Roger died 3 years after their marriage, no one knows how her died and it remains a mystery to this day.

One thing is certain, Calysto has certainly earned her title as the Pirate Queen.
