Just a little experiment that I thought I'd try out...doing a monochromatic-type drawing. I haven't tried this kind of colouring since I was in Jr. High! This one was coloured with several shades of pink and a couple purple markers. White and grey pencil crayon was used for the white areas, and a bit of white for the highlight in the hair.

I hope I didn't burn your retenas with all the pink ;)
