Just the introductory chapter of a story, possibly a novel or series, for a world that I brainstormed with my mate Tera. The general idea is that dragons have been known to exist since time immemorial, but only recently (as in, 1900s) started to seriously assimilate and integrate into the then dominant human societies. Before then, they'd lived mainly out of the way on the fringes of human society.

This story starts off with the main character, Jake, who is a Small Town Country Dragon, introducing himself and where he lives. But this is only the beginning. :3
