This is a demon from the Angel and Knight Prime dreamscape that Jessica and Zonto had to do deal with once in what I like to refer to as first season.
Si-Higogoth's are a very dangerous form of demonic being that under the terms of The Compact between Upstairs and Downstairs should not be allowed into the mortal plane. Since Zonto is Earl-Marshall for Downstairs in the Mortal Plane http://www.furaffinity.net/view/709595/ and he was not informed about one being sent into "His" theater of operation he took exception and intervened.
This is good because it probably saved Jessica's life! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1018627/ Si-Higogoth hunters are very intelligent, fast and violent beings that would have no problem taking out an ordinary mortal. What's worse is that they have the ability to cast what amounts to a "Someone else's problem" field on their target. Once this is done no will notice the victims plight, pleas for help, or the Si-Higogoth chasing and killing its target.
You could be getting disemboweled by one of these things and have someone standing 4ft away and they wouldn't see, hear or feel a thing. Only when it was done with you and had left the area would the person wonder what this wet stuff was on their face and then realize that they were covered in your blood, and you scattered on the ground at their feet! They are fairly bulletproof but fortunately are not immune from being tossed off the hood of a Mercedes and run over by a bus!

14.5mm would probably give it really big booboos, but any weapon that fires it is not a concealable weapon. No I'm afraid all Jessica had to deal with it was her standard carry weapon which is a Para-Ordnance P12-45 which was loaded with Corbon 185gr+P ammo. Things were happening so fast she never got a chance to use .38spl snubnose backup.
Maybe in her car, but then she could've just kept a rifle or a shotgun in the trunk which would've been a better choice. Nah, she just had her P12-45 and her backup S&W 642 on her at the time. Which is about as much firearm as she can easily carry at all times after you factor in reloads and all the other things a modern urban person carries on them and still look fashionable.
The "Someone else's problem" field is truly the most frightening aspect of this monster. I'm not sure which is ultimately more horrific: having people walk past you while dying in the most brutal way imaginable, or suddenly realizing that you might have walked past somebody dying in the most brutal way imaginable and never noticed it.
