How rare and beautiful it is to even exist.

Wow, that's the best piece I've seen in a long time! I love it! And thank you for the speedpaint :) It's very kind of artists to share the process :)
I have just one question. How do you get such a clean lineart? I cen make one on paper, but digital inking is something I just can't handle. What is it dependant on?

Well, to be honest, it's kinda "cheating" C:
I use paint tool sai which has a line stabilizing tool! It's amazing. Couldn't live without it haha. For lineart (depending on the kind of brush I use), I usually turn it up pretty high. For this piece, I was using the default "brush" tool, 6.0 size, with S-1 stability, if you want to try it out for yourself.

I'm so going to! 8D
I've been using SAI for several years now, but somehow always treated it as background painting program. Never actually tried linearting, doing the characters in PS. Shame on me for not learning my tools better ;P Thank you! I'm going to experiment right away xD
And hey, who could be a neat artist without a little cheating here or there ;)

ahh it's like the opposite for me x3 I love using SAI for lining/coloring/shading, but prefer photoshop for when i (rarely) do backgrounds. Yeah, definitely give it a go~ there are actually "two" places where you can adjust it. under a brushes "advanced settings" (which i always leave on "smoothest") and up in the little toolbar where your rotating/zooming/etc buttons are. that's the one i play around with.
exactly ;D
