Kirin/qilin/kilin are a sort of Eastern variant of the Unicorn. And they're pretty cool. *w*

Oh goodness.

This is just...so amazing. I've been on a bit of a hype fest for The Last Unicorn as of late (and now the mention of a potential movie screening mentioned in that link is getting me even more excited even if I have to wait until the end of the year for it to come to my area) so the title of this instantly got my attention, but the pic itself is just wonderful, the characters look so pretty and the background is great and gaaaaah! I've been a stalker fan of your art for a long time but I haven't really given much attention to it until now, I love how you make characters look so elegant but strong and powerful at the same time. Kirin kid is adorable too, there really aren't enough kirins around on FA in general.

I don't suppose you might have any further plans for this family in the future?

A good comic and magnificent creatures. The little one is way too excited, the father is kind and straight, the gorgeous unicorn expected twins in her pregnant belly. What a wonderful family they are!^^
