Not really a lizard, but velociraptors will come into play at some point. Kinda going with the cliché Jurrasic park theme of raptors becoming the dominate species on the planet. But its a ways off into the series I think.
As for lizard's...hmmm..done a water monitor, a sailfin, and a bearded dragon. IDK? :P

I like that idea actually, I'd say if you want to do multiple lizards, focus on a small (Town, apartment, car full of people) and show them changing WITHOUT ever drawing attention to it. Have the changes happen but don't draw attention to it, it'll emphasize lizards are spreading and it'll be subtle.
Yeah I really like the idea that everyone slowly transforming and accepting the changes as a normal thing! Especially when multiple people even notice each others changes as a good thing. Also, your transformation stories with reptiles, cats, dogs, and oyhers work so well with the mental changes! Thanks for the stories we can enjoy!
