Long ago, in happier times, I wrote this piece for my ex as the musical representation of this picture that depicts us sharing a quiet moment together. Through music, I tried to symbolize the sensation that time had slowed down for a moment of tenderness, with the yearning that we might forever be locked in time in this way. As much as we might want this, however, the impermanence of all things makes it a futile wish. All things must come to an end, though I still feel nostalgic for those days...
