Anthro version character for Kaze no Sylpheed (The WIndy Sylpheed), horse-racing manga by Yukihisa Motojima.

Born in Morikawa Ranch, Sylpheed had a very bad tenonitic syndrom, which made him almost killed by the Morikawa Ranch owner, if his son Morikawa Hayao didn't avoid it to happen. Hayao decided to be Sylpheed's Jockey, to take care of the low-potential horse.

Anyway, Sylpheed did have a high-potential in his journey to become the winner of many races. He can do the last spurt so fast which made him called "White Lightning", and he eventually suceeded France Race (La Prix 'la Triomphe) when his left eye was badly wounded and blind. He died by a truck accident in Morikawa Ranch for protecting his bunny-pal Tetsuro.
