On this latest "Throwback Thursday", I thought I'd post a few more 'photo-ops' I'd taken at the Dreher Park Zoo (now known as the Palm Beach Zoo in Dreher Park) in Boynton Beach, Florida...
A few weeks ago, I'd posted similar pictures of other fauna from this same facility (mainly a Florida panther hybrid cub and a bobcat), and I knew that there were other animals I'd captured on my roll of 35mm film (back in the mid-1990s) that I want to share...
On this occasion, it was a warm, sultry day at the zoo, and in one of the caged enclosures, I'd seen a grey fox taking a nap atop a handmade den. His mate was probably sleeping inside said den.
(It's hard to believe that, a few years later, I'd have a close encounter with a grey fox, out in the open, when I had a warehouse job in Coral Springs in the late 1990s, and the fox - looking for food - approached me in the parking lot, just before Midnight!)
