The USS Salvation had been on a two year course to the Outer Rim of Gryphon territory owned space. The journey had gone fine for six months, but just after the first phase was complete. The Salvation picked up a unknown transmission of Alien origin. The Captain decided to investigate the source of the transmission. Three hours detour and they had arrived at the planet. Marines and Officers, were sent down to the coordinates of the unknown transmission. And too their horror the transmission was for a fellow Gryphon Empire Cruiser vessel called USS Astra. The team found that the beacon was of Wolven origin. And as the team turned the device off, Salvations sensors detected two Wolven ships, a Heavy Cruiser called Sunken Blood Heart, and a Destroyer known the crew as Swift Fang. But the Salvation is a Battle Cruiser, and she had the latest weapons known as hellbore Cannons. The Battle lasted for a good 45 minutes, Salvation had taken damage, but swiftly destroyed both vessels. And so you see here the Salvation returning Home to Talson Prime, to warn the Gryphon High Council of the impeding War with the Wolven race..
