On a routine patrol mission, the Sky Raptor came across an old relic from a time long before the Yar'Zanti Invasion. Why is it still standing despite the invasion and encroaching Yar plants? What will the aliens find there? Finally will they be able to investigate without the Clan noticing?
This was a fun story continuing the invasion. Plus, it allowed me to show a bit more of how the loyalists act and are like after the start of the civil war. Finally, I brought back together a few people who had been separated since the clanners broke away.

Well, at least the hotels survivors were "rescued" by the loyalists, and it sounds like they are being treated much better then they were previously. However a gilded cage is still a cage in the end. Plus the humans being kept in the "preserves" will eventually figure out, just what the Yar-Zanti need them for.
As far as the Dark Rangers go..... Come on guys, having a private channel is fine... but mix things up.. change your encryption codes regularly and such. But on the flip side, this could be an intelligence coup for the loyalists, if they use it properly.

Hehehe, true very true. Ado was just as puzzled and surprised as you are! I hope the loyalists exploit it for all it's worth!
Yea, the loyalists can't bring themselves to break their taboo over informing humans to where they truly come. But you're right, sooner or later the "caged" humans would learn the Yar'Zanti secret. Should be interesting to see if and when it happens. :)
