In a dream, I saw a massive wall made of light in space. I'm not sure of its purpose, though I would like to add it to my Galaxy's canon.

Wait...you mean...ALL this time...the EARTH was just another brick in the COSMIC wall as conceived and and orchestrated by an incalculable extraterrestrial intelligence it would take multiple human lifetimes to understand??!! Duuuuuude... *Inhales deeply. Sits down in wide eyed shock. head shaking in absolute stupification* That is so deep I don't think I'll ever see the light of day again...I'm in the event horizon on the edge of comprehension and the light is being drunk by the mouth of the unknown... ov0
I can't wait until 2017! What will happen that year, cannot be stopped the government nor Project Delta! Swamp Gas my Ass!! I'm a friggen Contactee! ETs and Ultraterrestrials are welcome here any time and are Agarians,Cerple Greys,Xioyaniin,Lasertians,Tall Whites,Mantises and Annanaki!
Kinda, yepp. I started to write a dream journal, but I would love to draw stuff I saw every now and then. I guess that means I should get practice.
Also I hope I can take over http://www.furaffinity.net/user/oneironauts since the groups mods have disappeared from FA. I tried to contact the mods. Of course no response. I contacted the admins, but still am waiting for an answer. That would be a good place to start featuring more art like this.

Me too, even though I don't know if managing a group will feel different from simply having an account. But I guess there would be way more activity there. But I have to manage to get it first. At this point I don't know if I will, since I'm waiting for a response for quite some time now. I also could start a similar group like that anew, but I guess I would waste something valuable if I would give up trying to save an already established group. I think I am prepared for taking it over, I already have ideas for journals, I know quite a few dream related images here on FA that would be worth faving by that group, etc.
I probably could. But that would mean it would seem inferior at first. I would have to refave everything the previous group did and people might feel I would just copy the other group. I still think it would be better to get control of the Oneironauts group as long as it still exists, that is.
Lets see what shows had walls in space. Star Trek TNG episode 1, caused by Q. The Galactic Barrier in Star Trek, which is a powerful barrier that surrounds the entire galaxy, contributing to it's shape. The barrier was created by the entire Q Continuum to keep out Zero, an infinitely powerful and insane being from another universe. Then another wall is the barrier in The Last Starfighter, which is an awesome movie.
Now for other ideas of what this wall could be. It could be a floor, where all planets and stars sit on. Could be a Trampoline, which causes planets to bounce around or spin around, or even help display the effects of gravity. Now this wall could actually be the edge of a Galactic Pool Table, with the planets and stars being the balls. Think back to the show 3rd Rock from the Sun, where one of the cut away animations had a planet getting knocked around like a pool ball, and falls into a black hole, aka a pocket.

It's similar to the pool table in the Q continuum, the desert road as seen in Star Trek Voyager. I think I remember the balls looked like planets too. Fitting, considering it was just a metaphorical representation of the real continuum so humans could perceive it. My memories are a bit fractured, I'm not sure, but I guess it might have been an idea even popping up in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as well as in one of the Futurama movies. Cosmic pool just seems to be one of those popular ideas.
Also I guess it may be inspired by the way documentaries try to explain the spacetime continuum. The planar surface that planets and stars rolling around, making dents which should visualize gravity...

I had to rewatch that scene. You are right, it was a pinball machine. Could have sworn it was a pool table before. I guess I mixed it up because it still somehow is similar. Playing with the universe. But I guess, I remembered the scene you mentioned from 3rd rock from the sun too and then somehow mixed it up.
