Mike & Klunk enjoying the good life.
For those who don't know, Klunk is a cat adopted by Michelangelo, first appearing in the " Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Michelangelo One Shot " comic by Mirage Studios in the 80s. It was actually a nice, 'lil Christmas story. I used the original color scheme for Klunk. I think later on, they made Klunk a her and turned her tan. He/she may be made of ice cream now too... I haven't watched that far into the Nickelodeon TMNT show yet so I dunno for sure.

Ice Cream Kitty is definitely a derivative of Klunk, but not the same character. Plus Ice Cream Kitty still freaks the me the hell out... I think I read the story where his cat died too? I can't remember. It was heart wrenching.
The pic is insanely beautiful though. I absolutely, absolutely love how you've done the shape of the face and head. Beautiful man.

I've only seen one episode with Ice Cream Kitty & Mikey had it in a bowl at the farm house. I dunno what was going on but it was waaay into the series & Seth Green was doing Leo... of whom had crutches. I've really only seen season 1 so far so I was kinda lost.
I guess Klunk died in the Image series bit I've chosen to think of that as stupid.

Ah you saw way further on then. The initial mutation of Ice Cream Kitty was really unsettling for me, because the cat starts acting like it's dying before it changes. It was kind of horrifying.
Didja get Lizard Man? I got him ordered. The price on these things is ungodly, but I only want Sssqueeze after this and I should be done with MOTUC. Barring any awesome figures or cute things...

Oh, that's good. You mentioned that & I was afraid it was yet to come.
My Lizard Man has been shipped. I pre-ordered him on eBay for actually a teeny bit less than he'd cost through Matty. He's still in stock there.
I'm about the same. I've been waiting for Sssqueeze for a long time.... and then I think I'll also want Dragstor. After that, I may be done unless I like the supposed Evilseed they may do.... or if they do any of Orko's family & friends. There's a New Adventures guy called Lizzor or something that, if they do him, I'd prolly get as well... but he's not really an " A list " character.
I think the only MOTUC figure that already exists that I'd like is Shadow Weaver... just not for $200.

that's not Michelangelo, mike is creepy looking, has horrible lips and looks more scary than shredder.....oh, and he was april o neal's pet...he never had a cat...and a rat that looks more like a chihuahua trained him in ninjutsu, using a book the rat found on the sewers....right?
ok, now that the last bit of my absolute hate for bay's piece of crap is out.....
I LOVE THIS PIC SO MUCH! THESE ARE THE REAL TURTLES! THIS IS HOW THEY MUST LOOK AND FEEL! so, phraggle, sir, please give us more of the REAL ninja turtles, if you please, kind sir, thank you...now, i must go and....stalk a certain movie director who pretends to be cecil b. de mille, buthe is really a lazy uwe boll rip-off

Are you sure that's a real comic book? Vrghr doesn't see the add for those X-RAY Glasses on the rear cover. The ones with the googley spiral lenses! *giggles*
This is such a happy piece, wuffy wants to curl up "hound-dog fashion" on that porch behind him, while sneaking reads (and the occasional cheesy poof!) around his shoulder! *grin*

This one made me cry, man. I love Mikey. He's my favorite turtle and him and his cat...I'd imagine him and I just hanging out. I didn't have a ton of friends so fictional characters helped me through a lot of rough times. When I eventually got some cats of my own along with my two orange marmalade cats Milo & Bubba I had a cat that looked just like the original Klunk so..I named him Klunk. We were best buds for about eight years till I lost him one day when my mom let all our cats out (on Halloween no lesS) despite my telling her they belonged indoors.
This reminded me of all that stuff. Not in a bad way. A really good way. I can't thank you enough for how much your art has meant to me over the years. Phraggle you're the best.
