Hiking with my best friend camera in hand, hoping to see foxes along the way. For the entire hike, the sun remained hidden, no blue sky at all and the wildlife was especially shy that day. As we walked to the edge of the beach and we are just finally reaching our cars, we caught a glimpse of color, a spot of orange and yellow. The clouds were breaking. As soon as I noticed, I rushed to the tower and climbed the stairs as fast as I could to make it in time. And when I made it to the top, the sun broke through and a flock of geese dashed across the sky. To this day, I consider this my luckiest moment. There was so much uncertainty, so many variables and even still, everything lined up for a most rewarding photo, the best I've ever taken.
