One day long before Albert becomes a great king,
before he can even imagine the complications of diplomats or dating,
he finds some pretty dresses stowed away in a dusty room.
Even though Nyxis told him he could wear anything he wanted today, he's afraid that he'll be in trouble for arriving in something that he's only ever seen girls wear.
Nyxis is overwhelmed that she would ever see that dress again.
One day, Nyxis must explain to him that the world outside their kingdom walls is not as accepting or safe as the comfortable life he has thus far known and remembered.
One day, she will tell him about the war, and she will tell him that the dresses he adores so belonged to her dearest friend.
But that day is not today. Today, she will regain her composure and teach him how to dance, as she had promised.
He still belongs to the wonder and innocence of childhood. He is still too young. He will understand in time.
This is a little something for Blindside's Ending D. I bet Albert grows up to be the most badass swashbuckling prince who can also rock a dress. c':

Right in the feels! I alternately D'awwwwed and cried a little.
It's probably a good thing Eflasia was/is/alternate-endings-make-tenses-confusing a little on the flat-chested side, otherwise I'm not sure it would fit him so well. (No offense to Eflasia, nothing wrong with flat. I mean, look at Lunari XD)
So... would that make him a Drag Queen in the future? *is shot*

Oh my gosh, and thank you for all of the wonderful comments and the watch! I'm glad my writing could evoke such emotion; knowing I did a good job is the greatest thing a writer could ask for.

Well, as a fellow writer I know how much being told you've done a good job matter! It is rare though to find a story that invokes such emotion in such a short amount of time (I literally started reading the comic like an hour ago, then the script).
More so because the character reminds me a lot of some of mine who have found themselves in similar situation.
But, again good job :3 I look forward to being surprised!
