Third attempt (second in going solo) at making a meringue tower, and it came out perfectly.
Something I learned from Gordon Ramsay (minus the hazel nuts). Not that complicated actually; the toughest part is getting the egg whites out without any yolk getting into it, while it's also a bit tough having the meringue mixture cook properly. And for the love of the gods; if you attempt a meringue tower: REMEMBER TO GREASE THE BAKING PAPER!
