A really cute piece by 
Velo_Artwork who had a multispot raffle set up. ^w^
it had been a bit of a rainy day, and by the time the sun went down and the running lights (heehee) had been turned on fur the night tiem purrtion of the race, footing had gotten a bit dodgy.
Number 4 hadn't seen the puddle in time andvwound up taking a tumble and losing his large first place lead.
However, seeing our fellow runner down, we all knew, crossing the finish line wouldn't make us the rightful winner, so, while a few of us stayed behind, "catching up" just as Nunber 8 helped the wounded canine across the finish line, the spectators cheered on the selfless racers and the first place puppy.
