All we want is more, more jazz
It's just one of those lazy afternoons when the members of the Detroit-born jazz band, The Showoffs, are bored with nothing to do. Trisha is always the first to whip out her mic and suggest an impromptu jam session in the top floor of their building, with Jackie not far behind in plucking a few notes on her bass. Rachel takes a bit of time to set up, picking which beats and samples to cut up and scratch as they go. Each time it's guaranteed to draw a crowd from the rest of the apartment building.
All they need now is a pianist and a sax player and they'll be at every late-night venue this side of the state.
