For those of you who have never played Asmik's "Air Diver", an old SEGA Genesis game from the '80's, that game is just about the closest you can get to playing a manic ShmUp from the cockpit.
The plane flown by the player in this game is the F-119D. Basically, it's an F-19 that's tripping on Angel Dust.
It flies faster and farther than you would ever think possible, carries an absurd amount of missiles and fuel (internally!), and makes a living shooting down hoard after hoard of Mig-29s, Su-29s, Super Harriers, and huge bosses that fill the screen --- from the BACKGROUND. Then it lands to rearm, resupply, and repeat...
Anyhow, this is what I believe it's performance specs to be, based upon a combination of data given by the game, the performance that the F-119D demonstrates, and my own experience in rooting out aircraft performance.

i have a book on WW2 that had a illustration of a ME262 variant planed at the wars end that had more sweep to the wings and the jet engines in the wing root and a more streamlined canopy ,i love military jets but am really fond of the early german jets and rocket fighters and hope to oneday getting back into modeling to build all the different variants of the different aircraft, and i think the delta wing configuration would go well with the sharklike body of the 262
