Got this idea earlier in the week. Regretting it now.

My excuse is that I did this earlier in the week I actually posted it, when it was still around Haiti, and also that weatherpeople are often wrong about things. In a weird way though, it still fits Ike. He may not hit what he was aiming at, but whatever he does hit is probably going to die...Collateral damage.
I thought of something like this with Hurricane Beryl about six years ago. My primary persona at the time was a Sailormoon derived original character (who is still a major persona, but has since, due to the machinations of a particular chatroom, become a crazy cross-over character turned goddess ).
Never actually had the means to draw or write up anything though, so it just kinda died out after mentioning it to my ex-boyfriend and his then-girlfriend.

Thank goodness someone did it, because I was way too lazy to!
That was one of the most amusing hurricane events I've ever witnessed. Not only was it covered on the news in a much more grave tone than normal, giving the effect that it's extra dangerous because it's Ike, but when a newscaster said people should, and I quote, "prepare themselves for loss of life," I started rolling on the floor laughing.
As I always say, "Ike hits things." Hell, Ike even knocked down several trees in my area - and I live in Ohio!
